ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct on-site assessments of workplace environments to identify potential injury risks and develop customized injury prevention programs.
2. Provide immediate care and first aid treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses on-site.
3. Evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.
4. Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to help employees recover from injuries and safely return to work.
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, and occupational health specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for injured employees.
6. Educate employees on proper body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention strategies through training sessions and workshops.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of injury assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
8. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to industrial athletic training and occupational health.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training.
2. Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) from the Board of Certification (BOC). Must provide BOC number to be considered.
3. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
4. Experience working in industrial or occupational settings is preferred.
5. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, injury assessment, and rehabilitation techniques.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
8. Willingness to travel to various worksites and remote locations as needed.

Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist- Dual-Licensed Telehealth Provider
ABOUT THE ROLE
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform virtual injury evaluations through the company’s telemedicine and electronic medical record platform.
- Provide acute and chronic injury triage, case management, and patient education within scope of practice.
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans through digital healthcare tools and integrations.
- Support remote therapeutic monitoring programs, as appropriate.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care and maintain effective communication with patients, providers, and internal clinical team members.
- Maintain clinical quality, compliance, and professional standards in all patient interactions.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and compact licensure requirements for athletic training and physical therapy.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, privacy standards, and company policies.
Role Progression
This role will begin with a balanced mix of athletic training and physical therapy responsibilities. Over time, as patient volume and program needs expand, the position is expected to shift toward more PT-focused responsibilities, including treatment planning, follow-up visits, remote therapeutic monitoring, and ongoing patient progress management.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current Physical Therapist license required, with eligibility to practice in a PT Compact state.
- BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential required.
- Current Athletic Trainer license or certification, as required by applicable state regulations.
- Minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience preferred; four or more years strongly preferred.
- Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, occupational health, telehealth, or physical rehabilitation preferred.
- Multi-state licensure is highly preferred.
Remote Work Requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
- Computer or tablet suitable for telehealth visits and documentation.
- Private home office or clinical workspace that supports HIPAA-compliant patient care.
- Ability to complete onboarding and review required training materials, including recorded webinars.
- Professional appearance and conduct during virtual patient visits.
Schedule and Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time
- Expected Hours: 40–45 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Salary Range: $80,000–$100,00 per year
